have organised a BIG CLEAN UP as part of the national campaign against litter http://www.thebigtidyup.org>
Join them on Sunday April 25th from 10am – 3pm (you can just stay for 10mins or all day its up to you) at the Visitors Centre
Paul Jessett will be there to brief you. The Friends of Oare are a voluntary group who help with the upkeep of the woods and are always looking for more help. Contact Nick Stewart ;oarenick@hotmail.com; fordetails on the group.
They normally meet the 2nd Sunday of each month at the Gunpowder works.

This is the official blog for The Friends of Milton Creek. Milton Creek is a shallow tidal inlet in Sittingbourne. The The area has a rich heritage dating from the Roman period and was vital industrial artery from the Middle Ages to the middle of the last century. Over the last five years the Park has been been turned from a brown field site into Kent's newest Country Park and is now in the final stages of development.
